Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to accept payment of electricity charges payable by the petitioner from 2009 to till this date and thereby restoring or giving new connection for the said property bearing Door No.29, Indra Gandhi Street, Annai Sathya Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal Village, Chennai-62. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims that she is the absolute owner of the property situated at Door No.29, Indra Gandhi Street, Annai Sathya Nagar, Thirumullaivoyal Village, Chennai and though she was provided with electricity service connection, it was disconnected on 17.12.2009 due to non-payment of arrears of electricity consumption charges. The petitioner would further state that it was a hut, which went away during heavy rains and thereafter petitioner has put up superstructure and at present it is without any electricity service connection. The petitioner in this regard, has submitted a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation dated 20.05.2015 to the third respondent and since she has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.R.S.Mohan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.R.Dhilipkumar, learned Standing Counsel who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.05.2015 in accordance with law after providing her opportunity of personal hearing and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
