ORDER

Writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner for revocation of suspension and consequentially permit the petitioner to write the exam, so as to complete his PG Course in MS - Orthopaedics in the present Academic year in the 2nd respondent College.

2. The petitioner completed M.B.B.S, from Coimbatore Medical College in the year 2014. The petitioner joined the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital, for the P.G. Course, in M.S. Orthopaedic in the year 2022. On 30.11.2024, the petitioner was arrested and remanded, based on a complaint against him. According to the petitioner, the petitioner was falsely implicated. The petitioner states that due to his arrest and remand, the Dean of the 2nd respondent suspended him from the College vide order dated 02.12.2024. The petitioner submitted a 2 / 5

representation dated 10.02.2025, to the 1st respondent to revoke the order of suspension and to permit him to complete his P.G. Course by permitting him to write his M.S. exam. As the petitioner's representation was not considered, the petitioner filed the above writ petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, considering the limited prayer of the petitioner in the writ petition, I am inclined to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
