This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction the 1st to 2nd respondents to consider the petitioner representation letter dated 08.04.2019 and directing the 1st to 2nd respondents to give adequate police protection to Sri Angalaparameswari Amman temple function from 27.04.2019 to 04.05.2019 in Odappan Kuppan Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Villupuram District and protect the law and Order problem. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation dated 08.04.2019 to the 1st and 2nd respondent police with regard to give adequate police protection to Sri Angalaparameswari Amman temple function from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

27.04.2019 to 04.05.2019 in Odappan Kuppan Village, Ulundurpet Taluk, Villupuram District. Since, no order has been passed, the petitioner has filed the present petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, based on the nature of the request of the petitioner after giving opportunity of hearing to the 3rd respondent.

5. It is open to respondent police to put any restrictions or to impose any conditions purely in the interest of preserving public order and tranquility.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
