Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.06.2015 and grant permission to the petitioner in order to conduct the cultural and adventure program and to give police protection which is schedule to be held on 11.07.2015 in Sri Kaliamman Temple situated at Gangapuram (Village), Bharadharami (Post), Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be the Dharma Kartha of Sri Kaliamman Temple situated at Gangapuram Village, Bharadharami Post, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District and he submitted an application dated 30.06.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural and adventure programme to be held on 11.07.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there in that place and prays for appropriate orders.
4.Heard the submissions of Mr.D.Jagadeesan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
5.This Court without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 30.06.2015 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 10.07.2015 and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner.
