This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 14.08.2015 and consequently directing the 2nd respondent to investigate and to file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that the petitioner has given a complaint against his wife for illicit intimacy. Since the complaint does not disclose any cognisable offence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police.
