The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the respondents in connection with the order issued by the second respondent in Memo No.974/SE/KEDC/AO/Adm 4/JA2/ F.Suspension/ 2024 dated 04.06.2024 and quash the same and further direct the second respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service in light of the Guidelines issued under Chapter II Section 2(3) of Tamilnadu Electricity Board Employees Discipline and Appeal Regulations with all consequential and monetary benefits.

2.Though the present writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned suspension order dated 04.06.2024, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks for a limited relief to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2024. According to the petitioner, he was in prolonged 2/4

suspension and as per the Board Regulation, within four months, the review in respect of suspension has to be conducted. In the present case, for the past nearly one year, they have not considered any review upon the suspension of the petitioner. It is the further submission of the petitioner that he has given representation on 18.11.2024 itself and the same is pending with the respondent. 3.In such view of the matter, without going into the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the above representation of the petitioner upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of.
