This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to CMP No.764 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Pallipattu and quash the same.

2. For the sake of convenience, the parties will be referred to by their name.

3. N.Mohan [first petitioner] got married to Tamil Thendral [respondent] on 07.11.2011 and their marriage ran into rough weather. They appear to have got estranged and Tamil Thendral filed CMP No.764 of 2014 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pallippattu under the Domestic Violence Act against Mohan and his father Narasiman, challenging which they are before this Court on the ground that, the parties have amicably arrived at a settlement.

4. Today, Tamil Thendral [respondent] is present and is represented by her counsel Mr.Senthil Nathan. This Court enquired with her and she said that she has no objection for the proceedings being quashed.

In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the proceedings in CMP No.764 of 2014 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pallipattu are quashed.
