The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 25.02.2024 for the alleged offence under Sec.120B, 147, 148, 323, 364 and 302 of I.P.C. in Crime No.224 of 2024, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side), on instructions would submit that the petitioner has been detained as a Goonda under Sec. 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. Hence, this petition may be dismissed as infructuous.
3. Recording the submissions of the learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
