This petition has been filed seeking direction to the trial Court to complete the trial in S.T.C.No.3195 of 2017 pending before the Judicial Magistrate Tambaram.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials on record.

3.It is seen from records the petitioner lent a hand loan to the respondent/accused to the tune of Rs.15,00,000/- on various dates from 12.04.2015 to 23.08.2015 for the business purpose and the accused had promised to repay the amount within three months time. After several requests, the respondent issued a Cheque for Rs.13,00,000/- as part payment by cheque bearing No.763597, drawn on Karur Vysya Bank Limited, Chrompet branch dated 23.10.2015. When the cheque was presented, it was dishonoured and the same was returned with an endorsement 'insufficient funds' on 29.10.2015. Hence, the petitioner filed a complaint before the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram under Section 200 Cr.P.C for the offences under Section 138 and 142 of Negotiable Instruments Act which was numbered as STC No.3195 of 2017, and the case is pending for trial.
