This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the C.C.No.924 of 2007 on the file of the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that, trial has commenced in C.C.No.924 of 2007 before the learned Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and three witnesses have been examined.

4. Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

is closed with liberty to the petitioner to raise all the points before the Trial Court. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.

5. Since this is a case of the year 2007, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
