Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to consider Petitioner's representation dated 02.02.2012 and point out the field boundary line of his property in survey No.515/14, 524/1A and 524/3.

ORDER

The petitioner claims that he was the owner of the property having Survey Nos.515 (14), 524 91A), 524(2A1), 524 (3) and 524 (5A) comprising of 2 acres situated at Pootai Village, Sangarapuram Taluk, Villupuram District, which was originally belonged to his father and after his demise, the same was inherited by the petitioner. The said land is being cultivated by the petitioner and the other family members.

2. The petitioner wanted to sell the land in order to fulfill certain family needs, for which, he wants proper identification of the boundaries of the land to be made by the second respondent. Therefore, he had made a representation on 02.02.2012 requesting to survey and fix the boundaries of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

subject property. However, despite receipt of the said representation, the issue has not been disposed of till date. In the said circumstances, he prayed for a direction to the second respondent to take action on the representation, to inspect the land and fix the boundaries in the same.

3. Upon notice, Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Additional Government Pleader has entered appearance.

4. Since the direction sought by the petitioner is limited in its scope to dispose of the representation, this Court directs the respondents herein to take action on the representation said to have been submitted by the petitioner on 02.02.2012, by giving proper notice to the petitioner and survey the land and fix the boundaries in the subject land.

4. The respondents are also directed to issue notices to other persons, who are interested in the subject land. The respondents shall pass final orders as indicated above, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
