ORDER

Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the 1st respondent.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on his petition dated 29.08.2016 within a time frame.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that after issuing notice to the respondents 2 to 5 and after conducting enquiry, the 1st respondent has reserved the matter for passing orders. However, the order has not yet been passed.

5. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to pass orders on the petitioner's petition in accordance with law, within a time frame.

6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and in view of the fact that the 1st respondent has reserved the matter for passing orders, after hearing the respondents 2 to 5, I direct the 1st respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's petition, on merits and

in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 12.06.2017 rg To The District Registrar (Administration) Coimbatore Registration District Coimbatore.
