By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner would claim that he has purchased a
landed property admeasuring to an extent of 2,369 square feet, along with a superstructure situated at Plot No.333, Maxworth Nagar, covered under DTCP approval No.12/75, comprised in Survey No.414/15 Part, as per Patta No.1798, Survey Nos.414/15B and 153, Sunnambu Kolathur, Madipakkam - II Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, jointly with Tvl. G.R.Elango and G.R.Thirunavukarasu, by means of sale deeds dated 14.3.2014, registered as Document Nos.2170, 2171, 2172 and 2173 of 2014, on the file of the Office of the Sub-Registrar, Pallavaram, and claims to be in possession and enjoyment of the same. The petitioner would further state that patta in Patta No.1798 has already been issued to the previous vendor viz. Lakshmi Iyer, and after purchase of the property, they moved the third respondent by submitting an application dated 22.8.2014, for effecting name transfer and it was acknowledged on 1.9.2014, vide Serial No.246 of 2014. The grievance now expressed by the petitioner, is that thereafter, nothing has happened so far and hence, he came forward to file this writ petition.
3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 22.8.2014, acknowledged on 1.9.2014, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
