ORDER

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to issue joint patta in respect of Survey No.6/1 and measuring an extent of 1.21 acres in Survey No.8/1 of Thalaikothanoor Village, measuring totally an extent of 5.51 acres of agricultural land in Thalikothanoor Village, Denikanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a representation dated 30.12.2016 for the issuance of joint patta. However, the 3rd respondent has not considered the same yet.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.12.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
