The petitioner challenges the communication dated 01.08.2016 issued by the first respondent. By the said communication, it was held that the petitioner was not fit for inclusion in the panel for the post of Additional Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine for the year 2012-2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

The learned State Counsel has placed on record the instructions received from the second respondent, wherein it is stated that the petitioner was promoted as Additional Director of Health and Preventive Medicine vide order dated 01.02.2019, he assumed charge of the said post on 04.02.2019 and subsequently, retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.04.2020.

4. In the light of the above instructions, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is Page Nos.2/4
