Respondents Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, pleased to direct the 2nd respondent herein viz the Inspector of Police, Kaveripattinam Police Station, Krishnagiri District not to harass the petitioner herein on the pretext of some enquiry without any complaint by any one against her.

O R D E R

Based on specific information about the illicit movement of Ganja from Andhra Pradesh, the Head Quarter police had instructed the 1/4

respondent police to keep vigil over the NDPS accused. Pursuant to that, the petitioner, who has two NDPS cases, been called by the police for interrogation, alleging that she has been harassed by the police, the present petition is filed.

In view of the heavy probe of illegal movement of narcotic drugs, the police has stepped up vigilance and the exercise taken by the police is as usual exercise to prevent distribution and movement of narcotics drugs, Court cannot consider it as a violation of fundamental rights.
