This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to provide effective police protection to the petitioner company's personnel, vendors and contractors for installation of cell phone towers in respect of work site at the property located at Survey No.384/1, No.187, Range Nagar, B-Block Palankurai Post, Avinasi, Tirupur - 641 652, based on complaint dated 04.03.2024.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner's company is a telecommunication service provider doing business of installation, operation and maintenance of mobile phone towers and other related work across the nation since 2006. On 22.09.2022, some local persons have entered into the work site of the petitioner in respect of the property in S.No.384/1 situated at Avinasi, Tirupur and restrained the employees from discharging their duties and threatened them with physical assault 2/6
and dire consequences if their employees continued to do their work. Seeking to provide adequate police protection for installation of mobile phone towers for the employees, vendors and contractors of the petitioner's company, they made a complaint before the fourth respondent dated 04.03.2024. However, there was no response. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

Though very many grounds have been raised in the above writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 04.03.2024 and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the complaint of the petitioner will be considered, after providing opportunity to the local people as well as the authorities in the manner known to law.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the 3/6
merits of the case, directs the fourth respondent to consider the complaint of the petitioner, dated 04.03.2024 on merits and take suitable action in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the local people and the petitioner herein.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
