Respondents PRAYER in W.P.No.34887 of 2014: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2014 for grant of licence/ permission for running of the petitioner's bunk shop situated opposite to No.2, Adkinson Palace, Jothi Venkatachalam Street, Chennai-7 wherein selling Coffee, Tea and Snacks items and till such time not to disturb the running of the same.

PRAYER in W.P.No.34888 of 2014: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2014 for grant of licence/ permission for running of the petitioner's bunk shop situated Near No.4/1, Vasantham House, Azhagappa Road, Chennai-7, wherein selling Tea, Coffee and Snacks items and till such time not to disturb

the running of the same.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) In view of the Vending Committee having been constituted vide G.O. (4D) No.5, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (MCI) Department, dated 05.10.2016 and the proceedings of the Commissioner of Corporation in RDC.No.007/2016, dated 1.11.2016, nominating the members of the Vending Committee, we are not inclined to maintain the writ petitions and it is for the petitioners to approach the Vending Committee for obtaining the license.

2. The writ petitions, accordingly, stand disposed of. No costs.
