This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file final report in Crime No.476 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, the respondent-Police is directed to complete the investigation and file a Final Report or a Closure Report as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, with due intimation to the de facto complainant.

4. The respondent Police shall bear in mind the provisions of Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act, 2015 and initiate separate prosecution if required against anyone who was responsible for exposing the child to abuse. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
