ORDER

The petitioner made a representation on 07.02.2017 seeking permission/certificate of vending as per the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood Regulation) Act, 2014. Since the said representation is pending consideration till now, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.02.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
