This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent herein to order refixation of pay and pension and also confer the interest for the delayed payment of DCRG amount for the period from 01.05.2007 to 29.10.2021 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2022 and consequently pass order conferring interest. ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the first respondent herein to order refixation of pay and pension and also confer the interest for the delayed payment of DCRG amount for the period from 01.05.2007 to 29.10.2021 by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 01.08.2022 and consequently pass order conferring interest."

2. The case of the petitioner is that he retired from the service as Block Health Supervisor on 30.04.2007. Thereafter, he was paid the retirement benefits only on 29.10.2021. The petitioner would submit that for the delayed period he is entitled for an interest and in this regard he made a representation dated 01.08.2022, to the 1st respondent. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 01.08.2022, within a period of 4

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
