ORDER

(The cases have been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.04.2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 336, 392, 397 and 506(2) IPC, in Crime No.59 of 2021 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on 03.04.2021 the petitioner waylaid the defacto complainant, threatened him and robbed a sum of Rs.560/- and ran away from the scene of occurrence. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner is sole accused in this case. The petitioner waylaid the defacto complainant, threatened him and robbed a sum of Rs.560/- and ran away from the scene of occurrence. He further submitted that the petitioner have sixteen previous cases and hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5.Taking into consideration the nature of allegation and also that the petitioner is having sixteen previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 26/05/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
