The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 4(1), 5

(1) (a), 6(1) (a) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 in Cr.No.550 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with the other accused have illegally demanded money from the defacto complainant and hence he lodged a complaint before the respondent Police and the respondent Police had registered a case against the petitioner and other accused person. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case and apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, came forward to file this Criminal Original Petition. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender and further submitted that there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the fact that there are seven previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
