This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.542 of 2021 pending on the file of second respondent police to any other competent authority and to file a final report.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that accused on Periyasamy is not added as accused and also offences of kidnapping is also not added in the FIR.

3. Learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted in Crime No.542 of 2021 and investigation is pending and about to complete the same.

4. Heard both sides and perused the material available on record.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While investigation, if any material is available as against the accused persons, who is now identified by the petitioner, add him as accused and if any other offence is made, include those 5/7

offences and file the final report within the time stipulated as stated supra.
