ORDER
(The cases have been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.05.2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 392, 397 and 506(ii) IPC, in Crime No.406 of 2021 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution, as per the de-facto complainant is that the petitioner along with other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and threatened him and also assaulted him with knife and snatched away an amount of Rs.1,750/- from him.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would vehemently oppose stating that the petitioner (A2) is a habitual offender and close associate of A1 in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner has threatened the defacto complainant with knife point and demanded money and also assaulted him and robbed an amount of Rs.1,750/- from him.
5.Taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner was arrested only on 08.05.2021 and also the investigation is in preliminary stage, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
6.This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly for the present.
