ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st and 3rd respondents to produce the petitioner's wife viz., Pavithra, aged about 24 years and his daughter viz., Subashree, aged about 4 years (Minor), before this Court and set them at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that his wife Pavithra, aged about 24 years and his daughter Subashree, aged about 4 years, went missing from 21.04.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure them. 3.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Cheyyar Police Station Crime No.187 of 2021 for 'woman and girl missing' was registered on 24.04.2021 and during the course of investigation, both of them have been secured and handed over to the petitioner on 23.05.2021. 4.

Today, the police produced the petitioner, Pavithra, aged about 24 years and his daughter Subashree, aged about 4 years, before this Court via video conference and when enquired by us, they stated that they have rejoined.

Recording the same, this habeas corpus petition stands closed.
