ORDER
(Order of the court was made by Dr.VINEET KOTHARI, J.) The grievance made by the petitioner, representing General Public and Residents of Krishnavaram Mathikrishnavaram Kanniakoil Bahour Commune Puducherry Rep. by one N.Ramalingam is that the representation and the complaint filed against the Liquor Shops located in Bahour Commune has not been heard and disposed of by the Competent Authority under the Excise Act.
2. The representation dated 9.5.2018 is addressed to the Lieutinent Governor, Union Territory of Puducherry, the Chief Secretary to Government, Government of Puducherry and the District Collector, Puducherry.
3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, we are of the opinion that this petition can be disposed of by directing the Competent Authority viz., Respondent No.2, the District Collector, Puducherry to give an opportunity to the Representative of the Petitioner to putforth his grievance and decide the representation in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from today. The petitioner shall appear before the said Authority on 24.12.2018, without any separate notice.
