Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.368/2019 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence interimly for 8 weeks imposed on him by the Special Court for Cases under POCSO Act, 2012/Mahila Court, Chennai in S.C.No.33 of 2018 dated 06.05.2019, pending disposal of the above CRL A.368/2019 [IN CRL.MP.NO.4661 OF 2020] Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.368/2019 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.PALANIVEL, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.P.KRITIKA KAMAL Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Palanivel, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the accused has been taken into custody on 25.09.2020.
