Appeal under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent against the Order, dated 22.09.2017, passed in W.P.No.26030 of 2014 on the file of this Court.

W.P.No.26030 of 2014:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records dated 30.08.2013 in proceedings TSE/16/2011 on the file of the Fourth Respondent and quash the same. For Appellant : Mr.Anirudh Krishnan For Respondent 1 : Mr.S.Sathya Chandran For Respondent 4 : Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, Addl.Govt.Pleader.

JUDGMENT

(By Dr.Vineet Kothari,J.) The dispute in the present case was referred to Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Chennai, by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court on 08.06.2018.

2. The parties have since then entered into a Mediation Settlement Agreement on 11.07.2018, a copy of which is placed on record, as forwarded by the Mediation and Conciliation Centre.

3. At the request of the learned counsels, a photocopy of the copy of the said Memorandum of Settlement, dated 11.07.2018, may be furnished to both the learned counsels, after obtaining acknowledgement thereof.

4. Perusal of the said Memorandum of Settlement indicates that the first respondent employee-Mr.A.Sridharan agreed to accept a compensation of Rs.13,50,000/- from the employer M/s.Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers Ltd.

5. Learned counsel for the parties have confirmed that the amount in question has already been paid by the employer to the employee- Mr.A.Sridharan.

6. In view of the aforesaid development, this Writ Appeal has become infructuous and the same is dismissed accordingly. No costs.

Consequently, the connected C.M.P.No.8196 of 2018 also stands dismissed.
