Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondent.
2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to forthwith grant necessary track permission to him to draw water from the Ring Well located in Survey No.107/1, situated at Arthanaripalayam Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District, through the pipeline in Survey No.107/1, Arthanaripalayam to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
irrigate his lands in Survey No.108, Arthanaripalayam Village, Pollachi Taluk, Coimbatore District, as per the Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.202, Revenue Department, dated 24.04.2000, by considering his representation dated 02.06.2017.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.
5. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought now by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
