ORDER

The petitioner who was arrested on 04.05.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 15 (3) Indian Medical Council Act and 27 (b) (ii) of Drugs and Cosmetics Act and 420 of IPC in Cr.No.75 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has been running a clinic without proper medical education. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioner has been in jail from 04.05.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) vehemently opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner by stating that the petitioner had been running a clinic as though the Doctor in the village without having medical degree and he had been treating the villagers.

5. Considering the present pandemic situation and the objection of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) not to enlarge the petitioner on bail is found reasonable. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
