This contempt petition is filed to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the order of this Court dated 05.09.2017 made in W.P.No.8864 of 2012.

2. Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent had submitted before this Court that against the order made in W.P.No.8864 of 2012 dated 05.09.2017, the respondent had preferred a Writ Appeal before the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court in W.A.No. 428 of 2018 and the same was allowed by the Hon'ble Division Bench by judgment dated 21.08.2019. The learned Standing Counsel has also produced a copy of the above Judgment.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent and considering the fact that the Writ Appeal filed against the instant writ petition was allowed, the contempt is closed. No costs.
