Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records from the 1st respondent relating to the show cause notice in Letter No.33072/Pol.1A/2013-29, dated 26.11.2014 and quash the same as illegal and without jurisdiction.

ORDER

Though the learned counsel for the petitioner has strenuously argued questioning the show cause notice dated 26.11.2014 asking the petitioner to show cause as to why he should not be reverted to the lower post in view of the pendency of the criminal case in S.C.No.195 of 2011 pending before the learned First Additional Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli, the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the learned First Additional Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli, to dispose of the discharge petition filed by him, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

In view of the limited prayer made, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the learned First Additional Sessions Judge, Tirunelveli, to dispose of the discharge petition in Crl.M.P.No.246 of 2013 in S.C.No.195 of 2011 preferred by the petitioner, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
