Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to appoint an Administrator to administer and manage the 6th respondent and to take steps and to amend its byelaws to be inconsonance with that of the 3rd respondent and the Tamilnadu Societies Registration Act 1975 and the National Sports Code and to hold free and fair elections to the committee of the 6th respondent permitting only candidates lawfully elected by duly registered District Kabadi Associations in the State of Tamilnadu and to handover the administration to such an elected body.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We heard Mr.R.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.G.Santhosh Kumar, learned counsel for respondent 1, Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel for respondent 2, Mr.A.Gunaseelan, learned counsel for respondents 3 & 6, Mr.S.Santhosh Kumar, learned counsel for respondent 5 and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 4 & 7.

2. The prayer sought in this writ petition is for a direction against respondents 1 to 5 to appoint an Administrator to administer and manage the sixth respondent and to take steps to amend the byelaws.

3. The matter is of the year 2018. It is submitted by learned counsel for the sixth respondent that nine writ petitions are pending against the sixth respondent before the learned Single Judge of this Court. In some of the writ petitions, the allegation raised in the present writ petition is the subject matter of challenge.

4. As there are many disputes already pending against the sixth respondent by various parties, we dispose of the writ petition with a liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh petition, if the cause of action exists.

5. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.14732 & 14733 of 2018 are closed.
