ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to sanction necessary funds in compliance of the Honble Supreme Court of India order in special leave to Appeal No.13034/2019 dated 03.07.2019, and direct the third respondent to deposit the same into the credit of CMA.No.7 of 2001 on the file of Sub Court,Erode by considering the petitioners representation dated 01.06.2020.
2. When this matter was taken up for hearing on 25.09.2020, this Court passed the following order:
"The 3rd respondent has filed a counter affidavit. Paragraph No.3 and 4 of the Counter affidavit is extracted hereunder :-
3. It is respectfully submitted that proposal has been submitted to the Government for sanction of an amount of Rs.2,01,20,255/- as remaining compensation amount payable to the land owners. The Government in their Letter No.13516/LA2(1)/2019-4 Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (L.A.2) Department dated 23.01.2020
directed to examine the possibility of reconvey the unused land to the land owners.
4. I respectfully submit that I have submitted a detailed report as called for by the Government to retain an extent of 3.37 acre and 40 Sq.ft of land equivalent to the amount already deposited in the Erode Sub Court and to re-convey the remaining extent of 2.10 acres and 395 Sq.ft. Of land to the land owners through the Commissioner of Adi Dravidar Welfare, Chennai. The Commissioner of Adi Dravidar Welfare, Chennai has also recommended to Government on 03.09.2020 for the reconveyance of the 2.10 and 395 Sq.ft. Of the above land to the land owners.
2. Post this case under the caption "for reporting Compliance" on 02.11.2020. In the meantime, either the balance compensation amount must be paid to the petitioner or the lands should be re-conveyed to the petitioner and the same shall be reported before this Court during the next date of hearing.
3. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the respondents would submit that the above order was duly complied with by the respondents and hence, nothing survives in this petition.
4. In view of the above, no further order is required in this petition. Hence, this writ petition is closed. No cost. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
