Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, seeking to direct the respondent police to conduct a thorough and proper further investigation pursuant to the order dated 30.09.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.3393 of 2022 in RCS No.5 of 2023 on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai and file the final report and complete the same within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice.

ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent police to conduct a thorough and proper further investigation pursuant to the order dated 30.09.2025 passed in Crl.M.P.No.3393 of 2022 in RCS No.5 of 2023 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Perundurai and file the final report and complete the same within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that the investigation in this case is under progress and the respondent-police will be able to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of four (4) months.

3. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent-police to complete the investigation in Crime No. 698 of 2022, in accordance with the order dated 30.09.2025, passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Perundurai, in Crl.M.P. No. 3393 of 2022 in RCS No. 5 of 2023 and file the final report shall be filed within a period of four (4) months from today. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
