ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, and also to issue a separate patta in favour of the petitioner, based on his on-line application, dated 12.03.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Since the aforesaid petitioner's on-line application has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the 2nd respondent is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, which the petitioner claims that it is owned by him, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any third party as they

deem fit and thereafter, issue a separate patta to the petitioner, if he is entitled to be issued, in his name for the subject property.

Accordingly, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to complete the survey and demarcation of boundaries of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, with the assistance of the 3rd respondent, if required, based on the petitioner's online application, dated 12.03.2026, after giving due consideration to the documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire. Thereafter, if the petitioner is found to be eligible, the 2nd respondent shall issue a separate patta for the sub-divided property in favour of the petitioner. The 2nd respondent is directed to complete the aforesaid exercise, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
