2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. 3.Mr.M.L.Mahendran, Govt.Advocate(HR&CE), takes notice for the sixth respondent.

4.If the Assistant Commissioner, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Arulmigu Kottai Mariyamman Temple, Salem gives a requisition to the respondent Police, the respondent Police is directed to provide sufficient Police protection. With the above direction this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
