This original petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 seeking Succession Certificate with respect to the securities in the name of T.S.Sachithanandham who died intestate on 22.11.2017. The 1st petitioner is his wife and the 2nd and 3rd petitioners are his daughters and the 4th petitioner is his mother. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th petitioners have given their consent for Succession Certificate to be issued in the name of the 1st petitioner. The details of the securities have been given in the schedule to the petition.
2.After effecting paper publication, the petitioners were invited to adduce evidence. The 1st petitioner, S.Vanaja, examined herself as PW-1. The death certificate of her husband T.S.Sachithanandham was marked as Ex.P1 and the legal heirship certificate of T.S.Sachithanandham was marked as Ex.P2. The details of the share certificates were marked as Exs.P7 to P9. The consent affidavits of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th petitioners were marked as Exs.P10 to P12.

smv 3.In view of the evidence adduced, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in the name of the 1st petitioner, S.Vanaja.
