PRAYER in WP No. 10902 of 2025:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of certiorari to call for the records connected with the impugned order dated 20.03.2025 made by the Presiding officer IIIrd Additional Labour Court Chennai in E.P. No 66 of 2018 in I.D. No 148 of 2015 and to quash the same.

COMMON ORDER (1)Today, Joint Memos of Compromise dated 15.09.2025, entered into between the petitioner and the respondent, have been filed in the aforesaid writ petitions. The said Joint Memos of Compromise dated 15.09.2025, are recorded. The learned counsels submit that under the Joint Memos of Compromise, the petitioner agreed to pay Rs.20 lakhs to the respondent as full and final settlement of all claims.
(2)The learned counsel for the respondent submits that under the Memorandum of Settlement, it was agreed that the respondent could withdraw the amount of Rs.5 lakhs deposited on the file of the III Additional Labour Court, Chennai, and hence, prays for appropriate directions in this regard.
(3)As the petitioner/Management had deposited the sum of Rs.5 lakhs on the file of the III Additional Labour Court, Chennai, the 1 st respondent is permitted to withdraw the same along with the interest as agreed between the parties in the Memorandum of Settlement dated 15.09.2025, on filing of relevant petition for withdrawal before the Labour Court concerned. (4)The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner/Management had also issued the Relieving Order and Conduct Certificate dated 19.09.2025 and the same were also handed over in the Court to the respondent. The same is also recorded. (5)The writ petitions are closed in terms of the compromise arrived between the parties. The Joint Compromise Memos dated 15.09.2025 shall form part and parcel of this common order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
