2. The petitioner claims to be a member of the Festival Organising Committee of "Shri Gangaiamman Koil, Erthangal Post, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District. The petitioner submitted an application dated 30.06.2015, to the respondent seeking permission to conduct cultural programmes on 11.07.2015 at the said temple and since no orders came to be passed, he field this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Ms.Farheen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the programme will be conducted in a peaceful manner without creating any law and order problem and they will not perform https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
any obscene dance or any obscenity in the song and dance programme. The learned counsel hence prays for appropriate orders.
4. This Court heard the submission of Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice for the respondent.
5. This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer made in this writ petition, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 30.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 10.07.2015 and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.
