ORDER

(Through video conference) The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.03.2021 for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, 397 & 506(2) IPC, in Crime No.49 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the the petitioner and his friends had waylaid the defacto complainant and attacked him and robbed his mobile phone at the knife point due to which, the defacto complainant sustained injuries. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he is no way connected with the alleged offence and he has been falsely implicated in this case and that the petitioner has been in jail from 30.03.2021. Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent would vehemently oppose to grant bail to the petitioner stating that the petitioner way laid the defacto complainant and robbed his cellphone at knife point and would submit that 8 previous cases has been pending against the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Taking into consideration, the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) and considering the nature of offence and also considering the fact that there are 8 previous cases pending against the petitioner, this Court feels that it is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.
