By consent, the writ petition is take up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims to be the State President of the "Devendirakula Velalar Federation". According to him, it is a social movement, having considerable membership and it is continuously fighting for socially under privileged and marginalized people through Constitutional means and within the purview of established laws. The petitioner further claims that their federation is fighting against social evils, illegal activities of officials and general public, general causes etc., the agitation has been conducted by adopting various methods like fasting, rally, dharna, public meeting, gate meeting including shouting slogans. The petitioner submitted an application dated 22.06.2015, to the respondents seeking their permission to conduct State Level Social Awareness Conference on 19.07.2015 at "Kottai" Ground, Salem between 04.00 p.m. to 10.00 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

p.m. The petitioner would claim that Salem Corporation has got no objection for conducting the said meeting. In spite of that no order has been passed on the application of the petitioner and hence, he has come forward with this writ petition.

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Vijendran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner in this writ petition, directs the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application / representation dated 22.06.2015, in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 15.07.2015 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
