ORDER

The petitioners who were arrested on 02.04.2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences under Sections 8(C), r/w 20(b)(ii)(c), 25, & 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Cr.No.18 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners were caught red handed while they were transporting 21 kgs of Ganja in a two shoulder bags from Visakapattanam, Andhra State to Ernakulam, Kerala State.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are no way connected with the alleged offence and they have been falsely implicated in this case and the petitioners have been in jail from 02.04.2021 Therefore, he prays to grant bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the investigation is still pending. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioners. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Having regard to the nature of allegations and considering the fact that the petitioners have involved in a very serious offence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.
