This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents herein to pass orders on the representation sent to the respondents herein on 11.07.2020 seeking granting of ordinary leave of one month to Tmt.Mathammal who is lodged in Special Prison for Women, Vellore with FCP No.2500.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 would submit that on receipt of the representation dated 11.07.2020, the 3rd respondent considered and rejected the same by an order dated 17.07.2020 in Reference No.2500-Ta.Qu.2/2020. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

Recording the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order in the manner known to law. The 3rd respondent is also directed to despatch the rejection order to the petitioner forthwith, if not already despatched.
