Respondents PRAYER: This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to grant one month ordinary leave without escort to the detenu namely Mr.Srinivasan, s/o.Loganathan (Convict No-8474) from Salem Central Prison for the purpose of making arrangements of livelihood of family and taking medical treatment of the detenu.

(Order of the Court was made by N.KIRUBAKARAN,J.) The matter is heard through video-conferencing. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Pubic Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3.As per the earlier order passed by this Court, the convict has been transferred from Central Prison, Salem, to Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai. Thereafter, the convict has been granted one month parole from today i.e., 17.08.2020 by Inspector General of Prisons vide order dated 07.08.2020.

4. In view of the above, the present petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
