L.Munirathinam v. The Tahsildar

W.M.P.Nos.22449 and 22451 of 2019 in Writ Petition No.12632 of 2019 R.SUBBIAH, J and C.SARAVANAN, J W.M.P.No.22449 of 2019 has been filed seeking amendment in the name of vehicle.

2. W.M.P.No.22451 of 2019 has been filed seeking extension of time to comply with the order of this Court dated 03.06.2019.

3. Heard both sides.

4. Amendment is ordered as prayed for.

Since the vehicle involved in illegal transportation of river sand is only a Tractor, this Court directs the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- as non-refundable deposit instead of Rs.50,000/- as already directed by this Court under orders dated 03.06.2019. Accordingly, the amount of Rs.50,000/- mentioned in paragraph No.6(i) of the order dated 03.06.2019 shall be replaced with Rs.25,000/- (both in words and numeric). Time to comply with the order of this Court dated 03.06.2019 is extended by another seven days from the date of receipt of this order.

Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in all the concerned records and issue fresh order copy at the cost of petitioner.
