ORDER
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the first respondent vide Reference No.DEAN/0/90/2022 dated 20.12.2022 and quash the same and consequently, permit the petitioner to join in the 4th year and the 3rd year examinations which the petitioner did not write and the petitioner may be treated as an absentee 2023 within the stipulated time prescribed by this Court pursuant to the representation dated 05.04.2023.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that above writ petition has been filed challenging the Page No.2 of 5
suspension order dated 20.12.2022, in which, the respondent-Institute suspended the petitioner from pursuing his studies in view of the summon received from the Inspector of Police, F1, Kottakuppam Police Station, Villupuram District regarding the alleged involvement of the petitioner in Crime No.390 of 2022 registered under Section 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(d) of the NDPS Act. However, during the pendency of the writ petition, the suspension order passed against the petitioner has been revoked and he was permitted to continue his studies.
3. In view of the above, no further order is necessary in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
