By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to measure, survey and demarcate the petitioner's property viz., Survey No.164/66, measuring an extent of 2 Ares, situated at Injambakkam Village, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai District.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that the house site property was originally owned by the petitioner's grandfather and after his demise, the petitioner was in peaceful possession and enjoyment of the same. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has given an application on 09.01.2024 to survey the said property and demarcate its boundaries. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents 2 to 5. 5.

Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents 2 to 5 to consider the application of the petitioner dated 09.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders, for survey of the property and demarcate its boundaries, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
