With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2024 and grant patta in S.No.163/1 measuring an extent of Acre 0.79 in Sathyamangalam Village, Vellore Taluk, Vellore District in the name of the petitioner.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the Revenue Divisional Officer has passed an Order assigning the land belonging to the wife of the petitioner to Scheduled Caste. After demise of his wife, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents and as the respondents have not taken any action, the petitioner filed a Writ Petition in W.P.No.29863 of 2013 and this Court by an Order dated 22.11.2023 directed the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass Order on merits and as per law. Even after the direction of this Court, as the second respondent has failed to pass any 2/4
Order, the petitioner made a further reminder to the second respondent on 09.03.2024. However, no action has been taken by the second respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.03.2024 and to pass Order on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
